These quilting patterns require more work, thread, and machine time than the economy or light patterns. Measurements refer to the height of repeated section of the pattern that is usually designated with a different color in the diagram. Sometimes the pattern is not very dense but requires precision or has lots of points and directional changes that slow the machine way down. Some patterns may have light and/or economy versions that are stitched at a larger scale. If the pattern you are interested in does not have a light version and you are interested in a larger scale, please let me know and I will see what I can do. Also, most patterns may be made smaller for an additional fee.
