Classes

All classes are offered in person or virtually.
The only exception is the Button Trees & Ornaments Class which is in person only.

T-Shirt Quilt Starter Class (3 hours)

In Person: $350 ($300 if booked with a lecture) Virtual: $300 ($250 if booked with a lecture)

In this 3-hour class, students will learn how to design their own T-shirt quilt based on the unique clothing items they have. They will learn how to prep T-shirts and other clothing for use in quilting including rough cutting, fusing, and final cutting. They will design their own T-shirt quilt including their own layout plan, tackle unique items, and start on the T-shirt prep. They will not be able to sew at this class but will walk out with an understanding of what they need to do when they start sewing, with the unique plan in place and a start at block prep. (Maximum 15 people)

T-Shirt Quilt Workshop (6 hours)

In Person: $450 ($400 if booked with a lecture) Virtual: $400 ($350 if booked with a lecture)

In this 6-hour class, students will learn how to design their own T-shirt quilt based on the unique clothing items they have. They will learn how to prep T-shirts and other clothing for use in quilting including rough cutting, fusing, and final cutting. They will design their own T-shirt quilt including their own layout plan, tackle unique items, and prep their T-shirts. They will begin sewing and hopefully be able to complete at least a portion of their top. (Maximum 15 people)

T-Shirt Pillow (3 hours)

In Person: $350 ($300 if booked with a lecture) Virtual: $300 ($250 if booked with a lecture)

In this 3-hour class, students will learn how to design their own T-shirt pillow. They will learn how to prep the T-shirt or other clothing for use in quilting including rough cutting, fusing, and final cutting. They will design their own layout, assemble the top, quilt, and finish with a folded envelope back.

Memorial Ornaments (3 hours)

In Person: $350 ($300 if booked with a lecture) Virtual: $300 ($250 if booked with a lecture)

In this 3-hour class, students will create a number of memorial ornaments from one or more pieces of clothing. They will design, assemble and finish a number of ornaments during class and leave with an understanding of how to make many more.

Button Trees & Ornaments (3 or 6 hours, In Person Only)

3 hours - $350 ($300 if booked with a lecture) 6 hours - $450 ($400 if booked with a lecture)

In both the 3-hour class and the 6-hour class, students will learn how to create a button tree and/or button ornament using their personal button collections. Students will use two hole, four hole, and single shank buttons. They will also have the option of creating button yo-yos for trees or ornaments with two different techniques. Students will be able to create an mini tree skirt with the pattern provided as well as a small tree stand. There will be access to purchase from Beth’s extensive button collection as well as optional kits of materials available for sale.
